Interactive
whiteboards (IWB) are
designed for use with an projector and notebook or desktop
computer and are ideal for education, training organizations,
for business brainstorming, briefing, preparation, staff
training, connects to video conferencing systems and
for boardroom use.

Basically, there are two types of interactive whiteboard
- one you use finger touch (resistive) and one you use
with a special pen (electromagnetic).

Primary schools often prefer finger interactive whiteboards

pages, (using finger or pen), and most come with software

for educational use, primary or secondary, others use
